No more Barry Bonds?

I couldn’t have been more pleased at the conclusion of my Fantasy Baseball Draft when Barry Lamar Bonds was still available. No one drafted him which made my day. I remember when the skinny Barry Bonds came to the major leagues. I was in junior high but can still remember the whining he did in interviews. If he had a bad game it was someone else’s fault. Never took the blame or responsibility for his actions. It was no surprise to me when steroid allegations started to swirl around him. What was a surprise was the loyalty of fans. Couldn’t they see that this guy was growing right before their eyes? 35 years old and still buying new shoes and caps because he was growing out of the old ones. How hard is that to comprehend?

I will miss thee not Mr. Bonds. You have done irreparable damage to the game I love. I know you are not the only one but you are the most arrogant one in my opinion and don’t forget, you happened to break the season and career home run records of which you are not deserving. All I can hope for now is a complete ban on your entering the Hall of Fame. Only time will tell on that one. Today I implore all Major League teams to boycott Barry. None of your teams can benefit that much from him at this point in his career. Just let him sit around wondering why he was so stupid and arrogant during his career.
